ADVANCED ADVENTURE SPECIALTY!

Coming Summer 2023!

After a few dives, many new Open Water Divers wonder where to go next. Do they want to start night diving? Should they try deeper diving? Maybe they want to improve their navigation and buoyancy skills, or learn about diving with computers. Perhaps they are new to the area and would like an introduction to the local marine ecosystem.

No matter the path they choose, specific specialty courses are great opportunities to improve diving skills while having a great time. Yet few divers know which specialty to try first! The Advanced Adventure Specialty is the perfect solution! Advanced Adventure provides an introductory overview to a variety of SCUBA diving specialties.

The course begins with an extensive 150 page full color textbook and knowledge quest workbook for home study, continues with instructor led academic review, then culminates in five advanced dives.

Advanced topics will include: Advanced Navigation, Deeper Diving, Advanced Buoyancy, Boat Diving, Computer Assisted Diving, Drift Diving, Marine Ecosystem Awareness, Night Diving, and Wreck Diving (external survey).

Participants will meet with CAPT Steve before the dives to review academic work and for a question-and-answer session.

Open Water SCUBA Diver certification from a recognized agency and a log book are required. Divers without recent open water experienced may be required to complete a refresher prior to the course. It is strongly recommended that divers complete the NITROX Specialty course prior to this course in order to take advantage of significantly increased bottom time. NITROX will be available for all dives.

Course tuition is $349.00 and includes textbook, workbook, instruction, and certification card upon successful completion. Dive boat charter fees and rental equipment are NOT included.
